THE INDUCTION PROCESS

There are a few steps we ask the owners of new pups to go through before joining doggy daycare, puppy creche or bringing your pup for boarding.

These are to ensure the health, safety & happiness of the existing pack, and the new dog.

1.

Enroll

No puppies under 8 weeks.
Vaccinations must be up to date, including 5-in-1 booster, rabies, and kennel cough
Dogs older than 6 months, must be sterilised
Power breeds such as Pitbull, Bullterrier, and Rottweiliers etc. are not accepted.
Induction & Indemnity form (below) completed & submitted.

2.

Trial Day

(not required for puppies)

Dog to be dropped between 6:30-9:00 on a pre-booked day
Introduced gradually to the pack, behaviour monitored.
If unsuitable, owner to be on hand to collect at any time.
R100 day charge/ normal sleepover rates do apply

3.

Payment

Daycare packages and sleepover stays must be paid for in advance, via EFT, and POP sent, with the dog's name to woof@dogtanian.co.za
Dogs arriving without packages paid for will not be admitted.

4.

Drop & Pick

Whatsapp our drop-&-pick hotline number when you are close to the daycare (get the number from your branch) so we can be ready for the drop/pick-up
Park in the driveway,
We will collect the dog from the car and take them through.
Collars & leads on at all times, it is a busy road!

All daycare packages are to be paid before 1st day of the month my dog is attending

The monthly packages are set amounts, irrespective of days in the month, or how far into the month my dog starts attending

No refunds will be given for absenteeism

Dogtanian will take reasonable precautions to ensure the wellbeing and safety of my pet and myself, but will not be held liable in the unlikely event of damages suffered by me or my pet due to illness, escape, death, or other causes

I agree to indemnify Dogtanian and their staff against any claim for damages of whatever nature arising out of any treatment or procedures and hereby render myself responsible for all costs that may be incurred.

I will not hold the sponsors or any of their employees, the property owners, or any other party liable for any loss or injury whatsoever or death that may occur whilst attending Dogtanian.

I am hereby certifying that I am the legal owner of all the pets listed on my file at the facility.

I am undertaking to ensure that my pet(s) are presented at the facility by myself, or a designated adult, and am aware that the staff of the facility will not accept instructions from anyone else.

I am undertaking to maintain my dogs annual vaccinations, kennel cough vaccinations, de-worming and tick and flea control throughout the course of the attendance at Dogtanian.

I have to supply Dogtanian with a copy of my pets vaccination booklet and will do so annually as requested.
